About Dr. FrockDr. Sylva Frock is a Licensed Orange County Psychologist with 25+ years providing therapy, consultation and training. She has extensive experience in individual and group therapy, supervision and training, clinical program building and management. She has worked extensively with the LGBTQIA+ community, specializes in working with transgender and gender-questioning individuals and is available for first or second letter assessments. Dr. Frock focuses on the whole person: mind-body-spirit, and on integrating all aspects of oneself at a more balanced level. Whether it's individual or group therapy, or in her team-building work, she is able to create strong therapeutic and working alliances where clients feel both safe and challenged.

Dr. Frock received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University with a focus on issues including trauma, LGBT issues and addictions. She specializes in assessment and intervention in systems ranging in size from families to entire inpatient programs and treatment teams. Most recently, as the National Coordinator of Clinical Development for an industry leader in inpatient and outpatient addictions treatment. Facilities and C-level execs sought her insights to help improve both clinical programming and workplace systems. She has received specialized training in and worked extensively with multicultural psychology, women's issues, substance and sexual addiction, geropsychology, training and supervision, and systems assessment and consultation.
Dr. Frock has presented at local and national conferences and has published articles in academic journals, has appeared in news segments and on Intervention on A&E Network.
